   Learning Resource Centre
Below you will find information about use of the Learning Resource Centre and our Computer Labs. For more information please contact Ms. Kelly McCarthy.

Holy Trinity High School's Learning Resource Centre is located in room 128 and open each lunch hour 11:25 - 12:10

Students who wish to use this facility to study, check out a book to read, work on projects or make use of ourcomputers and print materials for research projects are welcome to drop in.


Students using the LRC are kindly asked to respect this working environment and others who are using the facility.
  • Food or Beverages are not Permitted in the LRC
  • The LRC is a QUIET place for students to work - please respect others.         
  • Books borrowed from the LRC must be signed out by the Teacher Librarian and returned on time.
  • Books not returned or significantly damaged will result in a billing charge to replace the book.
  • Students who wish to use any school computer equipment must first return AN ACCEPTABLE COMPUTER USER POLICY FORM to their homeroom teacher.
  • Computer work stations and tables should be left clean and tidy with chairs pushed in


Holy Trinity High has computers allocated for student use in the Learning Resource Centre, 3 Student Labs and one in the student area of the Guidance Office.

To use the computers AN ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY FORM must be completed.  Forms can be obtained from your Homeroom teacher and MUST be signed by both the parent and student to obtain a user account for the network.  Students not adhering to this policy may have their user account cancelled and may be referred to the office for disciplinary measures.

Protect your account contents and privacy - user account passwords should not be shared with others.Students are responsible for the contents of their accounts. Be sure to log out of your user account when finished.  Random checks of account contents are made throughout the year by the Network Administrator.

To ensure our computers are kept in the best possible order for educational use students are expected to follow the following user rules.
  • No food or drink allowed in the labs/computer areas.
  • Work stations should be left clean, with chairs pushed in and monitors turned off.
  • Vandalism will not be accepted and students known to vandalize computer equipment will have their account suspended and be referred to the office.
  • Classroom use of computers is limited to programs and resources recommended by teachers for educational use only.
